There's a lemon orchard near my home. The owner said it's not a harvest year so they didn't ask workers to help pick the fruits.

离家不远处有一片柠檬果园，老板说今年收成不好，也没请人采摘，

Some lemons got ripe and dropped onto the ground and some began to rot while still hanging on the trees.

一部分成熟掉落在地上，一部分挂在树上就烂了。

I went to pick a basket of lemons.They have very thin peels and full juicy flesh with refreshing fragrance.

我去摘了一箩筐回来，皮薄肉厚，清香浓郁，

Though lemons are fruits, we usually use them as a sour spice here in Yunnan. I made all my favorite dishes with the basket of lemons.

It reminds me of my grandparents -they used to joke about not letting me eat shrimp or I'd remain small!(aka shrimpy)Lol .But only because I would eat them all if allowed!
