Ten naval ships from China and Russia sailed through the Tsugaru Strait on October 18, 2021, according to the Japanese government.

据日本政府称，2021年10月18日，中国和俄罗斯的10艘军舰驶过津轻海峡。

The strait separates Japan’s main island and Hokkaido.

It was the first time Japan’s Defence Ministry confirmed such a joint passage.
