An 8-year-old boy was filmed using a door to pull a tooth out of his mouth in eastern China’s Jiangsu province.

He used some string to attach his tooth to a door handle. Then he kicked the door open quickly to yank the tooth out of his mouth.

The chances of problems from doing this are very small. Most dentists will tell you to do this if the loose tooth is really bothering the kid and won't come out. That is how I removed several of my teeth as a child.
