@Eileen Chang Yes, compare to trombone and French horn, Chinese instruments r most likely to use wood and bamboo, some original material so it's very expensive cuz the workers who produce these instruments need to polish the wood for a ver long time in order to get a smooth surface

I have just learned that erhu belongs to inner Asian Turks not Chinese. China met with erhu in Tang Dynasty period. "hu" in erhu means "foreign" because its origin is Turks. That's what wikipedia says. I just wanted to inform no offense:) I agree that it sounds like heaven

@Neslihan Bastem But the point is that its still originally hina's bcause I dont see any 'Asian Turks' using the erhu. Im pretty sure this instrument was 'Inspired' by the asian turks but its still china's tho

@Cu Cyl Probably its dominant frequencies resonates with something we are familiar subconciously. such as laughter of a baby or distant cry of a hawk flying over land of free.
