The biggest issue with a Gundam is it's weight. For a servo to move fast enough to be effect for combat it would need to be made of a something that could withstand the force of moving several thousand tons in seconds. All the metals and alloys we have at our disposal right now would snap under the weight. It's a beautiful dream; and great men make dreams reality; so keep it up Japan.

@N Flores Graphene is too brittle, nano-carbon fiber tubing would be better, but again it's not meant to be moved around a lot; the stress would break apart most of the joints. Titanium alloys would also be good, and could handle the stress; but the cost would be insane.
