In November, Naxi people in Lijiang are starting their annual pig feast event. I took some time to join their meal this year and the roasted marbled pork is just perfect. I also made glutinous rice stuffed sausages myself. Though the process seems a bit daunting, the taste is indeed unique with a well-mixed fragrance of rice and lard. I also pounded erkuai with a stone pestle, enjoyed a hearty annual pig feast, and joined in a delightful singing and dancing celebration. I acted like a Naxi lady that day by putting on a Naxi woolen vest and a traditional tippet with the pattern of seven stars. 

11月丽江的纳西人家，开始陆续杀年猪了，今年挪了个时间来蹭饭，嘿，那个烤五花肉真的绝了。还亲手做了糯米血肠，看着生猛，吃起来倒还挺独特的，米香猪油香混合一体。用石碓舂了饵块，吃了一顿丰盛的年猪饭，还跳了一场酣畅淋漓的打歌，穿上纳西羊毛褂和七星披肩，我当了一天纳西姑娘。

She is a native of Yunnan Province, and she is so good at moving around her home province. I do think if she continue to deepen her channel just within Yunnan it can last at least 10 years. China is too huge to present. Yunnan is unique with her beautiful 26 ethnic cultures living so peacefully, which is why it's so enticing.

她是云南人，擅长在家乡附近走动。如果她继续在云南活动，至少可以持续10年。中国太大了，无法一一呈现。云南是独一无二的，有着26个民族文化，生活的很安逸！这就是为什么它如此迷人的原因。

We do the same thing in North east India, adding pig’s blood to our pork sausage. It’s no surprise since Naxi people are also tibeto-burman. :) It looks so delicious.

我们印度东北部也是这样，在肉肠中加入猪血。这并不奇怪，因为纳西是属于藏缅族人！哈哈。这看起来很好吃。

@Konata Izumi   North east Indians eat various kinds of meat, regardless of their religions. :) There is no such concept of vegetarian and non-veg where i live. I’m from a Christian family, we eat everything from beef, pork, mithun, poultry, wild boar, and even venison.
