A novel that I had high hopes on since it had a similar concept to Black Tech Internet Cafe System but the author seemed rather lost in developing the novel. Plot is rather formulaic, MC is one-dimensional and the 'System' feels lacklustre. At least, the cooking description is not bad and the side characters are loveable. Might give this novel another go in the future.

I really like cooking novels and this seemed to have a lot of potential but it quickly devolved into a typical face slapping type of cn.
Overall the first 100 or so chapters are fine.

To sum up in one word, MC is pathetic. Sure he is a chef but cultivation was introduced so we can expect to fight his battles but it is NOT. All his battles are for gathering ingredients.

Overall it was a pleasant read and I did not regret reading this novel though I did not fully immersed myself into it because I skipped some parts (coz it gets lengthy like food descriptions and fight scenes) but still it was good and I would give it a rating of 4 stars. For even though it's lacking and has a lot of room for improvement but I enjoyed it and that's what really matters

Made me hungry. Decent food-focused cultivation story that sometimes bordered on being slice-of-life at times.
The MC himself is the calm, indifferent type so the people who prefer hot-headed, impulsive, idiot MC who think with their crotch probably wont like this; the MC is surrounded by beauties and doesn't lay a finger on them.

I just finished reading the novel.. never expected for the plot to be like that and the ending somehow left me hanging but still left me very satisfying.....i like reading this because there is no romance and purely adventure this is a very fun novel that makes you laugh and cry at the same time... nice work author and thank you for translating it to the translators.

The one thing I hate the most about this is every time he change location many innocent individuals dies like he's a plague of some kind. And the repetition of going to change location and show off cooking skills + face slap everybody. Why not just stay in one place and make that place some kind of a holy land of cooking or something.

It's just like a typical chinese cultivation novel but cooking.
I had a lot of free time before and I like the cooking concept so I read till the last chapter with the help of MTL. It started good but there are a lot of times you'll get bored reading the story

It’s good. A fun read when your bored. I just wish there’s more fighting for him because it’s a cultivation novel so it doesn’t make sense for the dog and robot to fight his battles all the time. I like the interactions between him and his customers and the humor.
