@Badge I'd say their fairly similar, they're both about a transmigrator except Throne of Magical Arcana is a more "standered" fantasy setting with the main unique aspect being that studying and understanding the world (through the natural sciences) is how mages get stronger, which obviously gives the MC from our world quite the advantage. I highly recommend you give it a try
