I have started reading it and the initially story telling is horrible. No time to setup why he is "talented" or why he was "accepted" or even "kicked out". Its just a huge mystery. The random appearances of people with very little backstory, and just the sentence "they are close" or "they are friendly with each other" would satisfy as an explanation with 0 build up of。

This novel gets very repetitive. MC does something that offends random dime a dozen villain, villain is 1-2 cultivation levels above MC and the MC defeats villain then cultivates up one more level then another villain 1-2 cultivation levels above MC appears and gets beat and process starts over again for 100% of the novel.
