Is this a joke? Where's the ambition, the urgency - emotions even! The protagonist isn't a human. He doesn't know how to think for himself, let alone what critical thinking is. You can put a human-shaped cardboard in place of the protagonist and still have story progress in the exact same way as this has been going. Nothing the protagonist does matters, even his cultivation depends on the author's mood. He will sometimes stagnate for years on end, and other times rapidly increase in cultivation with no rhyme or reason.

I agree, all the characters are so boring. No emotion at all, the way he talks to people is like he isn't even a real person, something like a puppet or something. Everyone who he meets are either trying to kill him, saying the usual trope kinda things like mocking him or can't recognise mount tai. Or they're like his master with hardly any interaction at all. There isn't any world building either. Granted, I'm only 15 chapters in but it's so fkin boring to read.

The mc is actually useless. He progressed so fast in the first couple of days, reaching the peak of Qi refining in the first day then peak of Foundation Establishment in a few months but from my understanding they are all from the system.
