I've wanted to make this series for a long time. I've planned a lot of ingredients for the root series, but I didn't expect Chinese yam and arrowhead to be the theme of the first episode. Yunnan people love roots as much as they do flowers and fungi. We even believe that all the roots that grow under the soil have a certain medicinal value. Nourishing food benefits our health, dispels coldness from our body and relieves fatigue. I hope the new series can show you some different Yunnan foods.

想做这个系列很久了，之前计划了很多吃根系列的食材，但没想到山药茨菰成了第一期。云南人对吃根的情感不亚于吃花吃菌，甚至会觉得所有长在泥土之下的根，都能有一定的药膳价值，食之滋补养生，祛寒解乏。希望新的系列给大家，也能让大家看到不一样的云南饮食。
