Okay, I’ve played 2 Gacha games before, and while neither had collabs, I understand what’s going on and I’m still excited for her, even if she “Doesn’t canonically fit”. To be honest, this is the first game I’ve played that had a Collab, so… I’m excited to see. (And yes I’m aware about the Honkai and Genshin Collab, but that only happened in Honkai.)

They would do collabs regardless if people accepted her or not. This is how games support each other. It's not about whether you're accept the character or not, it's about letting you know that the franchise this character is from is actually a thing you can check out.
